Connor Jean is an international skill enhancement specialist with deep roots in the Prime basketball family. As a product of ASA/ Prime and one of the original players from Prime's founding team in Northern California, Connor was developed under the legendary Frank Allocco Jr., inheriting a standard of excellence, detail, and discipline that he now carries into every part of his work.
Connor played his high school basketball at Northgate High School (same as Frank Allocco Jr.) before continuing at Diablo Valley College. He went on to achieve his dream of playing Division I basketball at Loyola Marymount University in the WCC, then completed his playing career and earned his MBA at the University of West Georgia. Known as a knockdown shooter, Connor finished his college career shooting 45.8% from the field and 42.5% from three.
Since 2018, Connor has built an elite training career, working alongside industry leaders such as Drew Hanlen (Pure Sweat), Alex Bazzell, and Micah Lancaster. He has trained over 60 NBA players, including 6 NBA All-Stars- among the likes of Jayson Tatum, Joel Embid, Brad Beal, Kelly Oubre Jr. Gordon Hayward, KCP, Zach Lavine, Jordan Clarkson, and others.. He has become a trusted developer of talent at all levels. He specializes in shooting mechanics, footwork, body positioning, and full offensive development.
However, Connor’s favorite work remains with youth and high school players hungry to reach the next level.
Now stepping into the role of Director of Basketball Operations at Prime Dallas, Connor is excited to bring the Allocco culture and Prime standard back to the forefront—where accountability, respect, preparation, and excellence are non-negotiable.

Frank, the founder of Prime Basketball, played a pivotal role in the growth of youth basketball in the California Bay Area. Prime became a prominent youth AAU program in California, which later merged with Flight Elite to form NorCal Elite. Prime Basketball would then be moved to Southlake Texas and thrive to what it has become today.
Frank was a standout high school basketball player, led Northgate High School to a 1995 state championship, scoring 2,008 career points with a remarkable 90% win rate. He earned a scholarship to Saint Mary’s College, becoming a three-year starter, WCC All-Conference player, and NCAA tournament participant under coaches Ernie Kent and David Bollwinkel.
After a successful college career, Frank transitioned into coaching. He currently serves as the Head Varsity coach at Clayton Valley Charter High School, securing the school's first Section Championship. With 15+ years of coaching experience, he contributed to several successful California teams, clinching a state championship in 2006.

I started playing basketball at 12 and I was fortunate enough to play beyond high school. At the collegiate level I won a national championship. Since then I played professionally in Germany and Africa. My love and passion for the game has recently shifted from not only being a player but to a coach too. I gets so much fulfillment and joy teaching the next generation the game of basketball.
